Motor: primitive reflexes, fixing gaze, flexed posture
Social/Language: CRIES TO COMM NEEDS!!
2 month old motor/social language:
Motor: smiles, less flexed, visually tracks
Social/language: coos (musical long vowels), SMILES!!!
4 month old motor/social language:
Motor: hands to midline, rolls front to back
S/L: LAUGHS!! stops crying with parents voice, orients head to voice
6 month old m/social language:
Motor: sitting, unilateral reach, raking grasph
S/l: oral exploration (bite), babbles (repetitive consonants), stranger anxiety
9 month old m/social language:
Motor: mama and dada, object permanence (peek-a-boo)
S/l: crawls, cruises (walks along furniture), claps (the three c’s)
12 month old m/social language:
Motor: independent steps;
S/l: understands much, says two words, jargoning with gestures
2 years old:
Motor: walks up stairs holding ones hand, scribbles;
S/l: 10 words, can name body part
3 year old:
Motor: Pedals tricycle, walks up stairs alternating feet;
S/l: Parallel play, knows age and gender
4 year old:
Motor: hop on one foot, use scissors, climbs well;
S/l: tells a story, goes to toilet alone
