Pectoralis major
Clavicular head- anterior have a medial aspect of clavicle
Sternocostal head - sternum upper 6 costal cartilage, aponeurosis of external oblique
lateral lip of intertubercular groove of humerus
Lateral (C5, C6, C7) and medial (C8, T1) pectoral nerves
Adducts and medially rotates humerus
Pectoralis minor
Ribs 3 to 5 near costal cartilages
Coracoid process of Scapula
Medial pectoral, nerve (C8 T1)
Stabilizes Scapula against thoracic wall
Subclavius
Rib one and costal cartilage
Inferior surface of medial, third clavicle
Nerve to subclavius C5 C6
Anchors and depresses the clavicle
Serratus anterior
External surfaces of lateral parts of the 1-8 ribs
anterior surface of the medial border of the scapula
Long thoracic nerve C5 C6 C7
Protracts and upwardly rotate scapula hold scapula against thoracic wall
