What is the origin of pec major?
Clavicular head: medial 1/3 of clavicle
Sternal head: from costal margin of sternum and 2nd to 6th costal cartilages
What is insertion of pec major?
Lateral lip of intertubercular sulcus (bicipital groove)
What innervates pec major?
Medial and lateral pectoral nerves
Spinal level of pec major?

Action of pec major?
Adduction. Think bowling, flex an extended arm and extend a flexed arm. Medial rotation.
Origin and insertion of pec minor?
Origin: Ribs 2-5
Insertion: Coracoid process of scapula
What innervates pec minor?
Medial and lateral pectoral nerves.

Action of pec minor?
Protract scapula and elevate ribs. Aids in breathing when we put our hands on top of our head such as after running.
Origin and insertion of subclavius?
Origin: superior surface of first rib near costocartilage junction
Insertion: middle 1/3 of clavicle
What innervates subclavius?
Nerve to subclavius.
Spinal levels of subclavius?

Action of subclavius?
Depress clavicle.
Origin and insertion of serratus anterior?
Origin: upper 9 ribs
Insertion: ventral aspect of medial border of scap
What innervates serratus anterior?
Long thoracic nerve
