Not a tumour
Doesnt contain cholesterol
Where does cholesteatoma affect?
Superior posterior middle ear and/or
What is the pathogenesis of cholesteatoma?
Chronic ottis media and perforated tympanic membrane
What makes up the lining of the middle ear?
Cuboidal or columnar grandular epithelium
What should you consider if someone has bilateral vestibular schwannoma?
Neurofibromatosis type 2
What should be considered if a young person has nasal polyps?
Cystic fibrosis
