  • size if nuckeus very small compared to atom = due to most going through (empty space)

A

Conserve charge
If you have to mnay up, add an ANTIUP to conserve the charge

Or maybe two downs, look at question, if it’s a meson then gonna be two only so often use the anti that’s it!

Look at overall charge too if the particle produce, if negative your final answer can’t have 0 charge

It also acts between QUARKS

So better way ti say it is it acts between quarks and nucleons
- short range of 3 fm
- from 0 to 0.5fm = repulsive , 0.5 to 3 attractive
