Q

How to do explain why bigger

A

Always write down the expressions, blud pay attention to scenario at hand, which is uothrust involved, so include this

CALCUALTE them if you really want but expression is fine!

Need more than sumo,e words

Q

What makes accuracy of experiment calculation , in terms of absolute uncertiwnties, difference etc

A

If the value accrual the falls in the absolute range accuratr

If thr percentage uncertainty falls greater than percentage difference thid tells you it !

What should you use to differntiate gamma and beta

A

Aluminium sheet which is few mmm, will be completely abdribed by beta !

( not lead AS GAMMA MIGHT BE ABSORBED, HENCE ,UST BE ALLUMNKUM!)

Q

Huge important

Rotating waves, what happens to intrnsities and interference pattern 0 to 180?

A

At 90, there is NO INTERFERENCE PATTERN
- this bevaude waves with polarisation perpendicualr to each other do. It interfere, must have a component. In the plane
- so what happens? : the interference pattern dissepars, but this means CONSTSNT INTENSITY, not 0 intensity along PQ!

At 180, intensities are same but POSITION OF MAXIMA AND MINIMA ARE SWITCHED!

  • from 0 to 90, the maxima decreases intensity and minima increases

From 90 to 180, the minima increase maxima decrease !

Q

No matter what , what is time CONSTSNT defintion

A

Time taken to fall to 37% of Orginal v , q , I, or charge to 63% of q, v depending on the system, of ORIGNAL VALUE

must say origanl!

Q

Drawing graph of current charge discharge based on charge

A

We know current is protionsl to charge, so based on the charge, there will be exponential increase decrease

Now when charge in capacitor is max , charge in resistor is min, hence current in resort is min

Then it charges and de charged accordingly, osciallte for betwene min and max?..

Don’t lack!

Remember sum of pd must be emf by 2nd law too

Q

What is a hall probe

A

Device used to measure flux density directly
Essentially semi conductor , current runs down , with magentic field applied
- this deflects electrons, causing one side of plate to accumulate negative charge, other positive by induction ( repels electrons, number repealed are number added, hence charge oppsite )

-this creates a pot de tail difference, hall voltage, which can relate to the magnetic field
