Case
A 77-year-old man presents with a rash. The patient states that the rash began a few months ago as several small, reddish-brown spots on his shoulders. Over time the spots became bigger, with some of them growing together to form large, well-defined patches. The surrounding skin was not affected. He denies any fever, and he states that he has never had this before. His past medical history is significant for hypertension and obesity. He is otherwise healthy, and he denies any other symptoms.
