49% serve pain
25% of these report the max score
What age group is less lily to receive clinically significant reduction in their pain?
45-69 years old

What happens if the fast A pain pathway is stimulated?
Simultaneous responses to the muscle fibres and the brain- muscles move away from the pain as a reaction before the brain has to process and respond to the stimuli.
What type of stimuli do A pain fibres mostly respond to?
Thermal and pressure/mechanical
What type of stimuli invigorates the C pain fibres?
Chemical, mechanical and heat sensory fibres.
How does the C pain pathway work?
Slow build up of neurotransmitters over time to create a more delayed and less localised pain response.
