May exacerbate cardiovascular conditions due to its effects on BP and HR

- CV Hypertension, tachycardia
- Resp: transient resp depression/ aponea rare
CNS: Emergence reactions, increased skeletal muscle tone
GI: Nausea and vomiting
Other: Injection site pain, hyper-salivation, lacrimation, nystagmus, diplopia
