Adult acne
Acne breakouts from hormonal changes or other factors
Aspyxiated
Smokers have asphyxiated skin from lack of oxygen. Characterized by clogged pores and wrinkles. Dull and lifeless. Can be yellowish or gray
Comedones
Open comedones are blackheads and clogged pores. Closed comedones are not open to the air
Couperose skin; telangiectasia
Redness; distended capillaries from weakening of the capillary walls; internal or external causes
Cysts
Fluid, infection or other matter under the skin
Dehydration
Lack of water
Enlarged pores
Larger pores due to excess oil or other debris
Erythema
Redness caused by inflammation
Hyper keratinization
Excessive build up of dean skin
Hyperpigmentation
Brown or dark pigmentation
Hypo pigmentation
Areas with no pigment
Irritation
Usually redness or inflammation
Keratosis
Buildup of cells. Rough texture
Milia
Hardened, pearl like masses of oil and dead skin trapped beneath the surface of the skin. Have to be lanced open
Papules
Blemishes. Raised lesions
Poor elasticity
Sagging loose skin
Pustules
Blemishes with puss
Rosacea
Vascular disorder; chronic redness
Sebaceous hyperplasia
Benign lesions seen in oiler areas of the face. Look like long doughnut holes
Seborrhea
Oiliness of the skin

Solar comedones
Large blackheads due to sun exposure. Usually around the eyes
Sun damage
Uv damage
Wrinkles/aging
Lines and damage from internal or external causes
Actinic keratosis
A rough area from sun exposure, sometimes with layered scale or scab that sometimes falls off. Can be precancerous
