Q

Describe the domains in a permanent magnet

A

In a permanent magnet, the domains are always lined up, which shows that they are always magnetised

Q

Describe the domains in an induced magnet

A

In an induced magnet, the domains are not all lined up, but they do line up when in another magnetic field. In some hard objects the domains stay like this but in soft objects they go back to normal
