What are some MICRO scientific insights on effective C.M.?
Micro = individuals. Fundamental to recipients motivation to change: [readiness=] 1:valence, 2:self-efficacy, 3:need for change, but also perceptions of fairness (esp. w/ uncertainty), identification w/ the change
What are some MESO scientific insights on effective C.M.?
Meso = groups. Social ties and relationship qualities. Small local changes -> important aspect of implementing more complex higher level changes. Shared beliefs -> important building block for change implementation
What are some MACRO scientific insights on effective C.M.?
Macro = org. level. Leadership competency. Trust in leaders. Nature of change itself -> can help to implement mutually reinforcing changes which are bundles. Readiness of the org. for change.
What do Stouten et al. have to say about (the role of) communication?
Open and honest. Comm. helps for legitimization of change. Multichannel. Comm. by role models/guiding coalition. Transparency, openness and honesty. Consistency.
What three types of justice exist?
1: Distributive (outcomes of change-what you get from it), 2: Procedural (process fair), 3: Interactional.
How is justice judges? (theory)
Equity theory. “What is considered as fair is set against the income and outcome ratio of peers” Compare (too little-frustration/anger, too much-guilt).
