reserve for aspergillus, fusarium, or drug resistant fungal infections
Broad spectrum
Posaconazole PO
Broadest spectrum azole, reserve for fusarium or other hard cases
Anidulafungin IV
serious non-albicans Candida infection
Caspofungin IV
serious non-albicans Candida infection
Micafungin IV
serious non-albicans Candida infection
Terbinafine
tinea capitis, onychomycosis, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea versicolor
Can be topical or PO
Clotrimazole
cream for tinea and cutaneous candidiasis
Ciclopirox
nail lacquer for mild onychomycosis, cream for tinea
Tolnaftate
tinea cream, powder, solution, spray
Chloroquine
All 5 plasmodium species, but resistance developing. Prophylaxis or treatment
