Pneumonia, sometimes neuros signs
What age of pigs are affected by H. parausis?
2wk-4mo
What will you see on necropsy of a H. parasuis pig?
Fibrinopurulent pleuritis and peritonitis
How do you treat Glasser’s disease (H. parasuis)?
Penicillin
What other disease presents similar to Glasser’s but has a low mortality?
Mycoplama hyorhinis
What are clinical signs of Mycoplasma hyorhinis?
Polyarthritis, polyserosities, fever, pneumonia
What age of pigs are affected by Mycoplasma hyorhinis?
