Adductor Magnus
A: Adduction and medial rotation
O: Pubic rams, ischium, ischial tuberosity
I: Whole of Linea Aspera and adductor tubercle of femur
Peroneus brevis
Everts and plantar flexes foot
O: lower 2/3 lateral Fibula
I: Tubercle on lateral base 5th metatarsals
Multifidus
A: Rotates, extends and laterally flexes spine
O: Posterior sacrum, lumbar vertebra, transverse processes of thoracic and lower 5 cervical vertebra
I: Fibres in 3 layers, passing upward/medial to attach to all spinous processes, L5 - C1
Supraspinatus
A: Weak abduction and stabilisation
O: medial 2/3 of supraspinatus fossa
I: Superior aspect of greater tubercle of the Humerus
Infraspinatus
A: External rotation, horizontal abduction, extension and stabilisation
O: Medial aspect of infraspinatus fossa, below scapula spine
I: Posterior aspect of greater tubercle (posterior of supraspinatus insertion)
Brachioradialis
A: flexes the elbow, returns forearm to neutral
O: Distal 2/3 of lateral supracondyloid ridge of hummers
I: Lateral surface of distal styloid process
Piriformis
A: Lateral rotation and stabilisation of the hip
O: Front 2-4 sacral segments
I: Upper border and medial side of greater trochanter
Tricep Brachii
A: Extend elbow, LH extends and adducts shoulder
O: LoH: Ingraglenoid tubercle
LaH: Upper half of posterior humerus
MH: Distal 2/3 posterior humerus
I: Olecranon process of ulna
Sartorius (Adductor)
A: Flexes, adducts and laterally rotates femur, flexes knee
O: ASIS
I: Anterior medial condyle of Tibia
Gluteus Maximus
A: Upper abduction and lateral rotation of thigh
Lower extends and laterally rotates thigh
O: Posterior iliac crest, sacrum, coccyx and lumbar fascia
I: Oblique ridge of lateral greater trochanter, ITB, gluteal tuberosity
Bicep Femoris
A: Flexes knee and extends hip
O: LH: Ischial tuberosity
SH: Lower half of Linea Aspera and lateral condyle ridge
I: Lateral condyle of Tibia and head of Fibula
Semitendinosus
A: Flexes knee and extends hip
O: Ischial tuberosity
I: Upper medial aspect of Tibia
Semimembranosus
A: Flexes knee and extends hip
O: Ischial tuberosity
I: Medial tibial condyle
Recrus Femoris
A: Extends knee and flexes hip
O: Inferior ASIS
I: Superior aspect of patella and patella tendon to tibial tuberosity
