What is organisational psychology?
Study that studies understanding, explaining and improving attitudes and behaviours of individuals and groups in organisations.
What are some limitations to human performance?
It suggests that a set of behaviours that someone may or may not engage satisfy performance performance.
It assumes that performance is performance is the final produce of those behaviours

Job performance

Behaviour: Dealing with emergencies

Improve the quality of the work place by doing voluntary activities that contribute to the organisation.

What does management by objectives (MBO) involve?
- sole focus is evaluating the employee and whether they meet specific performance goals
- suitable for quantifiable objective measure of performance
- the manager and employee have a meeting and construct objectives that are specific and measurable
- both parties agree
