What is chain of command?
Path along with communications take place or orders are passed down

Persons obligations to carry out a task

Number of employees managers are directly responsible for
What is delayering ?
Reducing number of levels in the hierarchy of employees in an organisation
What is empowerment ?
Giving power to carry out tasks
What is delegation ?
Assigning others of authority for tasks/decisions
What is decentralisation ?
Decision making spread through the organisation
What is centralisation?
Decision making is kept at top levels
