These medications are for type two diabetes mellitus only.

-Do not give before 48 hours after an intravenous pyelogram (IVP) both this medication and dye combined can cause kidney damage.

  • Take in the morning.
  • May drop blood glucose levels quickly.
  • Have a snack available. This medication can cause jaundice.
