What is a holmes adie pupil?

A

A benign condition usually seen in women.
It is usually unilateral.
The pupil is dilated and once it constricts it remains small for an abnormally long time. Slowly reactive to aaccomodation but poorly reactive to light

What is the treatment for acute closed angle gluacoma?

A

Pilocarpine drops
Beta blocker drops
IV acetazolamide

Laser peripheral iridotomy is the only definitive managment
