acetaminophen (Tylenol)

A
  • *non-opioid!!
  • treats: mild - moderate pain; decreases fever
  • maximum dose for adults 4000 mg (3000 mg in lecture)
  • toxic dose / chronic doses = affect the liver
  • antidote for OD = acetlycystine
