Organizational theory explains the behaviour of individuals or groups who interacts with each other to perform the activities intended towards the accomplishment of a common goal.
The Operations Management Model what is it?
- All operations are input-transformation-output processes
- All operations produce products and services by changing inputs into outputs, usins a “input-transformation-output process”
What are the “Four D’s” of operations management?
Direct - Directing the overall strategy of the operation
Design: Designing the operation’s products, processes and services.
Deliver: Planning and control process delivery
Develop: Managers must continue to develop existing products, processes and services.
