- bradycardia
- flushing
- caution in patients wirh risk factors for prolonged QT interval/cardiac arrhythmias
- dose-dependent prolongation of QT interval & cardiac arrhythmias including torsades

- hepatic metabolism
- decrease dose in liver failure
- excreted in urine

4-8mg 8hrly (adult)
