5 hydroxytryphtamine(5HT) inhibitors = Ondansetron, Ganisetron, Paolosetron & Dolasetron *causes QT prolongation =/
2st line drugs to treat chemo induced nausea?
Neurokinin-1(NK) = Aprepitant, Rolapitant, Netupitant
3rd line drug to treat chemo induced nausea?
Glucocorticoids = dexamethasone
*can cause hypoglycemia and immunosuppresion but can increase appetitie
breast cancers screening
50 - 75 yoa, mammography
Tamoxifen
antagonists breast, agonst endometrium = increased risk of endo cancer + hot flashes + DVT risks
Raloxifene
antagonizes breast and endo but can increase the risk of blood clots
Anastrazole, Letrozole, Exemestane
Aromatase Inhibitors = increased risk of osteoporosis due to anti-estrogen
*no risk of DVT
Colon Cancer screening
50q10 colonoscopy or occult blood testing 50q1
Colon Cancer screening in person with family history of colon cancer
40q10 or 8/10 years before earliest family member dx

HNPCC = 3 family members + 2 generations + 1 premature(<50)
