16
Q

When should ignition be selected on for takeoff?

A

Contaminated runway
Heavy rain

17
Q

What modifications should be made to FLX for unplanned anti ice, reduction of QNH?

A

Reduction up to 2HPa = 1* off
Anti ice use = 5* off

If both add them

18
Q

Minimum oil temp for take off?

A

CEO: -10ºC Min starting -40ºC

NEO: +19ºC Min starting -40ºC

19
Q

What are the FO handling limits?

A
45m runway width
X wind 20Kts
Max RVR 400m
No slippery runway
No reported windshear
CAT 1 only
5km for circling approaches

No tailwinds for *** FOs

20
Q

When does SRS engage and what does it do?

A

Engages when thrust levers set to TOGA or FLX as long as:
V2 is entered in PERF page
slats are extended
A/C has been on ground for >30s

SRS flies:
Pitch to maintain V2+10 for 2 engines
Pitch to maintain greater of V2 or current speed (max V2+15) for single engine

SRS also limits pitch to 18º or 22º in windshear

21
Q

What is GA SOFT?

A

Set TOGA thrust on go around and then back to FLX/MCT. SRS will maintain approx 2000fpm

22
Q

What should you do if a/c has burst tyre on takeoff?

A

If failure between V1-20 and V1, CONTINUE

Complete landing at lower weight with full runway length

23
Q

What are landing and approach climb gradients?

A

Approach climb: 2.1%
Landing climb: 3.2%
Low vis climb: 2.5%
