Which body is responsible for checking new routes?

Safety Management System
Checks safety of route, departure, arrival, crew and passengers.
Call ICC and ask for Duty Pilot.
Duty pilot can access safety and security briefings from company experts
If refused duty even if company say it’s safe, RFSD code iaw contract
When does the ‘Flight Phase’ begin and end for Ops Control?
First crew report,
Last passenger disembarked at the end of last flight of the FDP.
When does the commander have authority to dispose of the aircraft?
Doors closed to doors open.
Commander, in cooperation with ICC and MOC.
What is the commander responsible for during the flight phase? (5)
- Flight prep, alternates, wx, notams
- Fuel decision
- Crew briefing
- Monitor wx, progress, tech status, taking appropriate decisions
- Update ICC + MOC with progress and unserviceabilities
What is ICC responsible for during the flight phase? (8)
- Tracking + recording flight progress
- Operational monitoring
- Communicating safety info to ground ops ctrl and flight crew
- Critical assistance- in flight emergency, security, flight crew request
- Adaptation of OFPs and slots
- Revising OFP for reroutes+diversion
- Coordinating maintenance
- Coordinating with Duty Pilot for major irregularities
What is commander responsible for in the post flight phase? (5)
- Completing tech log
- Handover to crew/engineer, or securing
- Recollection of flight documents / storage (see 2.1.4.1)
- Debriefing, ASRs
- Verify with crewing for changes affecting any crew member for the next duty period
What is ICC responsible for during the post-flight phase? (2.5)
- Checking anticipated violations and amending rosters (automatically calculated / checked)
- Ensure planning of crew transport / hotel when out of base
- Agree with commander next reporting time when unscheduled out of base
What does Operations Risk Management do via FOQA
Downloads and decodes DFDR data, confidentially. This is used for recommendations, training and procedure changes.
OMA 2.3.5 Endangering safety wording
All reasonable messures will be taken that no preson recklessly or negligently acts or omits to act so as to endanger an aircraft or occupant, or allow aircraft to endanger person or property.
Company will grant (accompanied) access to relevant facility / aircraft/ data / other material for CAA or any other authority under provision of ARO.RAMP / ARO GEN.300 d/e.
They may also board a flight, enter and remain on the flight deck. When may a commander refuse entry?
If in their opinion, aircraft safety would be endangered.
