Types of obstacles:

A
  • emotional/ psychological: lack of motivation, low self esteem
  • time constraints: work/ study commitments, family commitments.
  • availability of resources: financial resources (lack of money/ benefits), physical resources ( car, bathroom scales)
  • unachievable targets: to difficult to achieve due to ability or timescale
  • lack of support: single parent, live alone
