Autoimmune - SLE, anti phospholipid

Hypertension in pregnancy definition
Over 140/90 or increase of 30/or 15
After week 20
No proteinuria or edema
Resolves after birth
HELLP:
Symptoms
Haemolytic, liver enzymes, low platelet
Malaise Fatigue RUQ/epigastric pain Nausea and vom Flu Hepatomegaly Edema, proteinuria, HTN Bruising
Raised LDH

Deliver fetus
Mag sulphate
Dexamethasone
Control of BP
COCP:
Counseling
> 99% if taken correctly
Risk clot/heart attack/strokes
Risk of breast and cervical cancer
First 5 days after period works straight away, any other time condoms 7 days
21 on 7 days off
Same time every day
