TRUE OR FALSE:
‘Object pronouns’ are the targets of actions in sentences, and stand in the place of the names of people or other objects. In English these are me, you, him, her, it, us and them.
TRUE
TRUE OR FALSE:
‘Den’ and ‘det’ do NOT change to match the grammatical gender of the word that the object pronouns replaces.
FALSE, they do change.
Example:
‘I will take it down’ when talking of a frame becomes ‘jeg vil tage den ned’ because ‘en ramme’ is of the common gender.
‘I will take it down’ when speaking of a map becomes ‘jeg vil tage det ned’ because ‘et kort’ is neuter.
