Obstetrician/gynecologist
Person who specializes in diseases of women, care of fetuses a nod pregnant women, labor and childbirth, and postpartum care.
Certified nurse midwife
Provides normal Gyn care for the non pregnant woman and monitors pregnant women throughout the birthing process.
Nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists
RNs with advanced education and training. Works with MD or nurse midwife.
Pediatrician
Responsible for diagnosis, treatment, health and wellbeing of infants and children.

Cares for neonate a and premature infants up to six weeks old.
Sexual identity (gender identity)
Describes the person’s inner feelings or beliefs about being male or female. Established early in life, between the ages 3 and 4. Affects sexual behavior, including one’s preference in a sexual partner
