Describe how your body converts carbohydrates into energy

A

Your body converts all carbohydrates into glucose, a simple sugar. Glucose that it is not used right away is stored in your liver or muscles as glycogen. When your body needs more energy it converts glycogen back into glucose. If you take in more carbohydrates then your body can use or store as glycogen it turns into fat
