A
  • AP disengage
  • AT disengage
  • Apply Max thrust
  • Roll wings level and Pitch for 20º
  • Retract Speedbrake
  • Adjust heading to avoid terrain
  • If terrain contact remains a threat, continue
    rotation up to pitch limit indicator, stick
    shaker or initial buffet

A

All RAs, except Climb in Landing Configuration:

  • AP disengage
  • AT disengage
  • adjust pitch and thrust to comply with RA

Climb RAs in Landing Configuration:

  • AP disengage
  • AT disengage
  • verify maximum thrust
  • adjust pitch to comply with RA
  • Landing Gear Up with “Positive Rate”

Approach to Stall or Stall Recovery

A

“Upset Recover”

  • AP Disengage
  • AT Disengage
  • reduce angle of attack to break stall
  • Roll wings level
  • advance thrust as needed
  • Speedbrakes UP
  • During liftoff if Flaps are Up….Flaps 1

A

Deviation from target conditions in excess of:

  • 1 dot displacement from the glideslope
  • 5° pitch attitude
  • 15 KIAS
  • 500 FPM vertical speed
  • Unusual thrust lever position for a significant period of time

A
  • Takeoff with full-rated takeoff thrust
  • use Flaps 20 or 15
  • use longest suitable runway away from windshear
  • rotate at the adjusted (higher) rotation speed
