A

• Airport is not a special PIC qualification airport.
• RVR more than 4000 feet (1200m) or
visibility more than 3/4 mile (1200m).
• Maximum crosswind component - 15 kts.
• Braking action good or better.
• No standing water, snow, slush or similar
conditions that may adversely affect aircraft
performance or controllability.
• No windshear advisories or reports.

Stabilized Approach Criteria

A

1000 FEET HAT:
• Aircraft is in the landing configuration and the Landing Checklist has been completed
• Airspeed is within +20 or -5 knots of Vapp
• Sink rate is 1000 feet per minute or less*
• Aircraft is on a vertical path that will result in landing within the TDZ

500 FEET HAT:
• Airspeed is within 5 knots of Vapp
• Engine thrust is stabilized at a level that results in target speed

200 FEET HAT
• Aircraft is aligned with the lateral confines of the runway

Mandatory Go-Around during IMC approach

A
  • On an ILS or localizer approach, localizer or glideslope deviation greater than 1 dot
  • Using LNAV/NAV and raw data monitoring is not required, cross track error greater than
    or equal to 0.3 miles
  • If raw data monitoring required:
    – On a VOR approach, course deviation greater than 5° or 1 dot
    – On an NDB approach, course deviation greater than 5°
  • Using VNAV/PROFILE and established on path, vertical deviation greater than +100/-50 feet

A

Single engine taxi may NOT be conducted under the following conditions:
• Aircraft to be deiced
• Frozen precipitation (ice, snow, freezing rain) falling
• Ramp and/or taxiway slippery or contaminated
• Tight maneuvering required
• AGB restriction

o Aircraft logbook
o Load manifest (weight and balance):
− ELM: primary
− Paper Load Manifest (PLM): backup
o Notice to Captain (NOTOC), if required due to HAZMAT onboard
o Jumpseat passes for all Additional Crew Members (ACMs)
o Fuel slip, if available
