A

NEPmen provided food, such as grain, meat, eggs, vegetables, helping to end food shortages.
This led to less hostility toward the Bolshevik government, thus reducing opposition to the Bols. Therefore there were less revolts and it reduced the famine caused by war communism

How did NEP benefit peasants, in terms of grain

A

Grain requisitioning stopped and replced with a ‘tax in kind’ meaning a fixed proportion of grain was paid to gov by peasants. Benefited peasnats as they could sell any surplus gain on the open market for a profit.
