Shabelle Tana and Juba Rivers flooded there banks affecting many towns and villages in Somalia and Kenya.
Many towns were underwater with houses near the river being submerged the floods destroyed Bridges and made roads is impassable meaning a drops by plane with the only way to deliver food to the starving population.
Many refugees were living in trees and were attacked by wild animals.
