- obtain a replacement Naloxone kit, as soon as practicable, in the event a kit is: (4)

- used
- expired
Police officer shall only administer Naloxone as needed when: (4)
- arriving on scene where a person is suspected of overdosing
- TFS and Paramedics are not yet on scene
- subject is not breathing and CPR has been initiated
- officer’s safety will not be compromised
After administering Naloxone to an overdosing subject shall: (2)
- immediately notify Supervisor
- complete an eReport, including a Naloxone Tracking Form text template
NOTE:
In cases where the SIU mandate is invoked, the SIU shall collect all evidence. Members shall ensure that all Naloxone spray applicators, both used and unused, are properly protected and preserved at the scene, and released to the SIU in compliance with Procedure 13–16.

- Naloxone has been administered; or
- officers carrying Naloxone attended the scene prior to TFS and Paramedics, but did not administer Naloxone;
