My Overhead Panel Flashcards
Air Conditioning panel - PACK (Pneumatic air conditioning kit) L or R
- L PACK switchlight - pressed IN supplies the flight deck thru the mixing manifold.
- R PACK switchlight- pressed IN supplies the passenger cabin thru the mixing manifold.
Air Conditioning panel- The FAULT portion of the switchlight illuminated
Indicate an over temperature or over pressure condition
Air Conditioning panel - The OFF portion of the switchlight illuminates
Indicates the associated PACK is off
Air Conditioning panel - RECIRC toggle switch
- ON energizes both re circulation fans
2. OFF de-energizes both recirculation fans.
Air Conditioning panel - RAM AIR guarded switchlight
- Selecting switch to OPEN allows air from RAM AIR scoop to enter the mixing manifold. This will allow flight deck and passenger cabin ventilation. (Switchlight illuminates)
Air Conditioning panel - L and R MAN switchlights
- Pressed IN allows for manual control of the airflow thru the PACK by direct actuation of the temperature control valve (switchlight illuminates)
Air Conditioning panel - HOT/COLD toggle switchlights
- Increases or decreases flight deck or passenger cabin temperature in manual mode.
Air Conditioning panel - CKPT and CABIN rheostat control knobs
- Allows for auto temperature control via the ACSC mixing hot and cold air
- Allows the pilot to set a pre-selected temperature in the flight deck as well as the passenger cabin.
Air Conditioning panel - CARGO switch (3 positions)
- OFF: closes intake and exhaust SOVs to seal at cargo bay enclosure
- AIR: SOVs opened to allow recirculated or conditioned air to ventilate the aft cargo bay
- COND AIR: will provide automatic temperature control of AFT cargo bay utilizing electric heater.
ANTI ICE panel - WING toggle switch
- ON: AILC (anti-ice leak detection controller) modulates the wing anti-icing valves
- White N2 arc appear 0-77%
ANTI ICE panel - COWL LH and RH toggle switches
- ON: Allows the cowl anti-ice SOVs to open which will allow bleed air into the leading edge of the cowls via a piccolo tube.
ANTI ICE panel - DET TEST (provides 3 seperate functions)
- The switchlight is used to test the detector circuitry and probes. Successful test will be indicated by an ICE caution and illumination of the DET TEST switchlight
- Pressed IN and held by the pilot will test the probes and sensor heaters. Successful test will be indicated by a green ADS HEAT TEST OK advisory message.
- When in icing conditions with the wing or cowls off, the switchlight will illuminate, along with an ICE caution message.
ANTI ICE panel - WSHLD LH and RH toggle switches
- LOW: All 4 panels are heated to 24° C
2. HI: Windshields are heated to 41° C
ANTI ICE panel - WSHLD TEST button
- Pressed IN, initiates a self-test of the windshield heating system. A successful test is indicated by the L and R WSHLD HEAT and L and R WINDOW HEAT caution message (windshields and windows must be energized prior to the test)
ANTI ICE panel - PROBES toggle switches
- ON: On ground with AC power supplied, TAT and pitot bases are OFF.
- Static and AOA are heated.
- Pitot heads are half heated.
