Alcolhic Beverages- 14 CFR Part 121.75
No person may consume alcoholic beverages onboard a Mesa- airlines flight unless they’ve been served by Mesa- Airlines
Under no circumstances will alcoholic beverages be served to a person who appears to be intoxicated, an armed a passenger, an escorted prisoner a crewmember or other Mesa- airlines employees in uniform
No person who appears to be intoxicated maybe boarded. Station agent boarding the flight will screen for passengers who appear to be intoxicated prior to boarding
Crewmembers or station agents will bring any person on board the aircraft appearing to be intoxicated to the attention of the PIC who is responsible for making the determination
Alternate Airport for Departure (14 CFR Part 121.617)
Takeoff alternate is required if the landing minimums (ceiling and visibility) for the departure airport at the time of departure is below the lowest Cat 1) landing minimum for the runways and use
The take offs alternate must be located not more than one hour from the departure airport at normal cruising speed in still air with one engine inoperative
The take offs alternate must be specified on the dispatch release
The weather at the take offs alternate airport mess conform to the alternate weather minimum is defined in op spec C055
Alternate airport for Destination (14 CFR Part 121.619)
Under FAR 121 domestic rules, a destination alternate must be specified in the dispatch release if the forecast weather at the destination, one hour before and one hour after the estimated time of arrival, indicates the ceiling will be less than 2000 feet above the airport, or the visibility is less than 3 miles
Minimum Fuel for Domestic (14CFR Parts 121.639 and 121.647)
No person my dispatch or take off an airplane unless it has enough fuel to:
- Fly to the airport to which it is dispatched
- Thereafter, fly to and land at the most distant alternate airport (where required)
for the airport to which dispatched - Thereafter, fly for 45 minutes at normal cruise fuel consumption
- Hold fuel will be added only when a known delay exists or is forecasted to exist. Hold fuel should only be placed in the HOLD the column of the fuel summary.
NOTE: In addition to the minimum fuel Mesa Airlines requires all flights to be dispatched with 15 minutes of extra fuel. Extra fuel amount will be added only in the EXTRA column of the fuel summary
