What is flex

Answer 5

Jet engines produce more thrust at lower temperatures. Flex lies to the engine and makes it think it is hotter than it actually is so it produces less thrust. Flex is the hottest temperature that the take off can be safely performed

Taxi- both engines running, clear of ramp/congestion
