3 Types of Muscles (VCS)
A
1) Visceral Muscle- aka smooth muscle or involuntary muscle, weakest muscle (stomach, intestines, & blood vessels)
2) Cardiac Muscle- involuntary, strong, only found in heart
3) Skeletal Muscle- only muscle that voluntarily contracts and relaxes, attached to bones by tendons (tendons are made out of connective tissue)

A
Type I- fibers contract slowly, used for stamina & posture
Type II- contract quickly
Type II A- weaker & show more endurance (legs)
Type II B- arms
