A

A
Areas cannot be guaranteed safe

A
Been assessed as no immediate threat to life, established 1km (1000m) away from Hot zone.

Who can work in the Warm zone?
A
Only officers who have been trained and properly fitted with the appropriate PPE. (Ballistic)

What is the JAR? And who is responsible for it?
A
Joint Assessment of Risk. It’s a multi-agency risk assessment carried out by the tri-services in attendance

The LFB NILO is involved in the JAR, what must they establish?
A
- Hot/Warm/Cold zones
- RVP & Strategic holding area established
- Forward Command post established
- Fire service roles & responsibilities
a) Develop a fire management plan to fight/control fire spread, save life & property with thecold zone.
b) Reduce the risk of flammable materials, explosive atmospheres
c) Carry out analysis & identification of potentially hazardous materials
d) Support the “Joint Assessment of Risk” process
e) Support the LAS in implementation of Casualty management plan.
f) Maintain reserve emergency cover.
