Inner cordon, describe?
- Large enough to contain the hazards
- Personnel and equipment involved at scene
- Yellow barrier tape
- IC or nominated officer to observe
Outer cordon, describe?
- Command vehicles/RVP’s, where possible between inner and outer cordons.
- Police to monitor outer cordon

At a Major incident who will agree the cordon & access points?
Tactical commanders will jointly agree using JAR (Joint analysis of risk)
When closing down a cordon what is sort from other services?

25m (increase/decreased in accordance with readings from survey meter and guidance from HMEPO
