A

1) Attached u-gauge to test nipple
2) Ensure all appliances are off
3) Turn on ECV – slowly

Why do you turn an ECV on slowly?

A

Turn it on quickly and there is a risk that it will lock the regulator out! Should lock out >23mbar but occasionally at 21mbar
