The Theory of Planned Behavior

A
  • It’s used to correct the person’s beliefs and attitude toward a behavior
  • Takes into consideration behavioral belief & subjective norms (what people around them/who they admire are doing)
  • Perceived behavioral control
  • Ex: Someone who smokes & feels they can’t quit because their friends smoke when they hang out - help them find a way around their barriers
