A

God seeems to be just, should act in same way. Jesus taught to treatr everyone fairly, also treat others as you would like to be treated. “Do to others as you would have them do to you” (Luke 6:31). Churches teach importance of justice. God will judge people after death, will forgive those who are truly sorry for crimes. Bible teraches God wants people to act justly “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).

A

work to support criminals while in prision, includes volunteers from local Chruches. Donate money to provide support. Organises prayer groups and victim-awarness programmes (prisioners understand how crimes are harmful). Support families of prisioners so festivals e.g. Christmas can be shared. Letter-writing programmes to prisioners so don’t feel alone.

A

Often seen on Friday and Saturday nights providing support and guidence to those in crisis or needing help, build community relationships and work for safer streets. A

For Christians should be fair to achieve justice. Appropriote punishment means victim gains retribution while given oppertunaty to realise actions are wrong and to change. Stories in Bible speaking against injustice. E.g. Amos, Isaiah, Micah, Jesus. “But let justice roll on like a river, righteouness like a never-failing stream”(Isaiahy 5:24). Isaiah called people to behave justly towards others, Jesus angry at way Temple courtyard had been turned into trader’s marketplace.
