Q

What is the stages of meiosis?

A
  1. It duplicates its DNA
  2. The chromosomes line up in pairs the centre of the cell
  3. The pairs are pulled apart so each new cell has one copy of each chromosome
  4. Each cell will have a mixture of the mother’s and father’s chromosomes
  5. The chromosomes line up again the centre of the cell
  6. You end up with four haploid daughter cells called gametes
