A problem-solving formula that provides you with step-by-step instructions that always gives you the correct answer e.g. when looking for apples at the supermarket, walking up every aisle and scanning for the apples
What is a heuristic?
A general problem solving framework (doesn’t always give the correct answer)
What does the phrase “all cognition is distributed” mean?
Cognition is not an activity of an individual mind but it is a joint activity distributed across other people’s minds and external resources
It is a socio-technical system
