(2009) found similar results with 70% of participants intending to carry on above 150v compared to 82.5% in Milgram’s study.

Application - Blind Obedience

Milgram’s research has real life application and can be used to explain blind obedience in conflict settings such as the My Lai Massacre in 1968 therefore soldiers can be trained to report incidents and refuse to follow orders in potential war crime situations to prevent further atrocities.
