What is the def of OT?
Art and science of helping people do the day to day activities that are important and meaningful to their health and well being through engagement in valued occupations
Why do people seek OTs?
For evaluation or intervention as a result of diagnosis or condition

More complex than ADL

Require more complex interactions and involve other people, groups and populations
Ex: driving, safety, finances, taking care of pets, communication, shopping, religious and spiritual activities
