- They are bacteria , viruses and parasites that are found in animals and transmitted to humans

- Direct through bites and feeding : Zika virus , Dengue virus , Malaria and rabies
- Indirect through environmental contamination : Hantaviruses , SARS-CoV-2 , Flu , bacteria in food and water

- they both are present in the living organism without causing disease , its a commensal relationship

- Old world causes hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome
- New world causes Hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome
