nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and a metallic taste

Serious adverse effects include seizures and peripheral neuropathy.
What precautions should be taken
should generally be avoided during the first trimester of pregnancy unless deemed necessary by a healthcare provider
Is Metronidazole safe to use while breastfeeding?
Short courses of Metronidazole are considered compatible with breastfeeding, but infant monitoring is recommended.
What instructions should be given to patients regarding the completion of Metronidazole therapy?
